University of Miami basketball needed more hydrotherapy treatment space. The two small existing whirlpools were not big enough for the larger players, and insufficient to meet the demand of the number of players wanting to use them. With the installation of the CRYOTherm system, multiple treatments can be administered at once, both pre and post practice, without the staff having to prep the whirlpools and work to keep them at temperature. With CRYOTherm, compliance with treatment has improved as well as the general attitude toward recovery hydrotherapy.
