Our Products
We constantly look for new ways to help athletes and athletic trainers improve performance. Over the years, we’ve designed several products for athletes in every sport, at every level.
CRYOTherm: This system provides effective cold and warm hydrotherapy without the hassle of ice, hot water, or daily cleanings.
CRYOPress: This refrigerated sequential cryo-compression system is effective for edema management related to surgical and other trauma applications.
The PARATherm features our exclusive sloped easy-to-clean ergonomic tank with deeper immersion to encourage proper treatment posture. It is currently discontinued.
For more than thirty years, READY REF has set the standard for on-field timing. Our timing products have been proven to improve game management.

Our History
Joe Grimm founded Grimm Scientific Industries. After years of developing temperature controlled medical devices, Joe met Paul Spear, the Head Athletic Trainer at Marietta College, in 1983. He introduced Joe to the cold and warm systems used in sports medicine, which were far behind the technology he was making for clinical laboratories.
Because of his passion to improve athletic performance, Joe then established Grimm Scientific and developed the PARATherm product line. Later, in 1987, he met Skip Vosler, Head Athletic Trainer at Ohio University, who helped develop the CRYOTherm and CRYOPress product lines.
Grimm Scientific Industries is based in Marietta, Ohio, where we design, engineer, and manufacture all our products.
